Constructed of laser cut 1\/4\" steel and CNC formed, they are overall a much stronger bracket than the stock units.  They also have an additional hole 1.5\" forward of the oem placement pivot location.  This allows for aftermarket leafs with a shorter eye to eye to be accommodated without pitching the shackle into the frame.  Increased ride quality can be gained with improved shackle angle.  These could also be used on a 2wd frame to convert over to a 4wd frontend (requires other additional components).  These match the exact OEM bolt configuration for easy installation and include Grade 8 hardware to mount them to the frame (does not include the shackle pivot bolts).
