Overview
The RPM Full 3" Sport Dual Muffler is a high-performance exhaust system crafted from 304 stainless steel. This catless sport muffler employs two RPM 3" Sport Mufflers to deliver a harmonious exhaust tone while maintaining a lightweight design. It retains the use of the factory rear fascia and mounts using the factory hangers and brackets. Positioned in the middle of the "loudness chart" for the Pro R lineup, it offers a balanced sound, with louder options being the Race Muffler and quieter, stock-like sounds from the Chambered Muffler. For a slightly louder option, the single muffler Sport Muffler variant is available. Sound clips and comparisons can be viewed on RPM's YouTube channel.
Exhaust Tip
The factory rear fascia's exhaust exit is designed around an isosceles trapezoid-shaped tip. The factory exhaust system's main limitation is its reduced 2.5" exit and tip, despite a 3" inlet, causing a bottleneck. RPM tackled this issue by re-designing the factory tip using 3D scans and models. The new design is a 3" tip that appears OEM and fits perfectly within the OEM rear fascia. This tip can also be countersunk for a sleeker look.
Gasket Flange
RPM has a history of manufacturing OEM-style gaskets and used this expertise to replicate the OEM flange for the best performance. The replicated flange ensures evenly distributed gasket pressure, maximizing sealing and preserving gasket life, unlike cone-style sealing flanges.
