Boosting ground clearance, strength, and off-road protection, the kit utilizes BDS's signature high-clearance design, paired with heavy-duty steel crossmembers, strut spacers, and differential relocation brackets.
Additionally, steering geometry is corrected with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles, while sway bar relocation brackets, brake line brackets, alignment cam bolts, and other hardware provide a comprehensive solution for increased suspension lift. In the rear, a heavy duty replacement transfer case cross-member, fabricated lift blocks, and longer u-bolts ensure a lifted and balanced stance, while the option for NX2 Nitro or FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks
DSC Adjustment
FOX 2.5 coil-overs are available with standard with DSC (dual speed compression) adjustment to tune the high-speed and low-speed compression damping allowing for added control on-road with the ability to easily dial in more aggressive damping offroad. Tuning is a simple twist of the two clearly defined knobs with immediate feedback to dial it in for any terrain.
High Clearance Crossmembers
BDS maximizes ground clearance with their heavy duty 1/4-inch thick laser cut perfect fit crossmembers. Paired with a front skid plate system that bolts together to create a rigid subframe while adding extra protection.
Heavy Duty Steering Knuckles
BDS corrects steering geometry at the new taller ride height using a pair of high-strength, CNC machined ductile cast iron steering knuckle design to work with replacement tie rod ends to maintain steering angles for proper function and ESC compatibility.
OE Knuckle Type
Ford is producing two knuckle/control arm configurations in 2020+ model Rangers. Cast steel knuckle equipped models have different ball joints than models equipped with Aluminum knuckles. Be sure to verify which factory knuckle your truck has before ordering by referencing our help images when customizing your kit.
