Take it to the next level by installing this 5-inch lift kit by BDS Suspension. Designed to improve the stance, performance, and capability, this kit includes everything to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 37" tires.
This kit utilizes torsion bar relocation brackets, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel cross members, multipiece differential relocation brackets, and heavy-duty skid plates built for offroad protection. Steering geometry is corrected at the new taller ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles.
In the rear, BDS offers replacement lift blocks and u-bolts to lift and level stance. The lift block is installed in place of the stock block and retains ride quality and load capacity. BDS also supplies brake line and ABS line relocation brackets that allow the use of factory brake lines and a matching set of NX2 Nitro or FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks.
Recommended Tires & Wheels:
- 35 x 12.5 with 17 x 9 and 4.625 in. Backspace
- 35 x 12.5 with 20 x 10 and 5.5 in. Backspace
- 37 x 12.5 with 20 x 9 and 5.5 in. Backspace
Rear Lift Option:
Determine if your truck was manufactured with or without top-mounted overload springs on the rear leaf springs.

Important Notes:
- Requires frame bracket modification.
- Torsion Bar Tool required to load/unload torsion bars, The GM specified tool is #CH48809.
- Models with two-piece rear driveshafts require a carrier-bearing drop kit.
- Factory 17-18" wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod end interference, stock 20" wheels can be reinstalled with up to a 35x12.50 tire.
- In some cases, vehicles used in 4WD on the highway regularly could experience a minor front driveline vibration. If this occurs we recommend replacing the front driveshaft with a dual Cardan-style driveshaft.
- Some minor trimming will be required with certain wheel/tire combinations.
- Will NOT work with AT4X or ZR2 models, lower control arm profile is different
