Did you know that a turbocharger heat blanket can help lower the direct radiant heat from your turbo exhaust housing by up to 80%? Keeping that wasted thermal energy inside the housing and out of your engine compartment helps maintain exhaust gas velocity driving the turbine to improve efficiency and response (spool up) of your engine's turbocharger.
These hand crafted blankets are designed to conform tightly around the stock exhaust housing on your truck's VVT.
Engineered for extreme performance use - internal ceramic insulation material for these blankets has been rated to withstand over 2,500 degrees Fahrenheit from a direct heat source and is protected by a durable wire mesh layer for maximum resistance to abrasion caused by engine vibration. Finished in a durable grey high temperature shell with stainless steel rivet fasteners to provide an attractive covering for the ugly raw stock turbo exhaust housing.
