At a time when most manufacturers are playing things safe, chasing fuel economy targets, and building “sensible” trucks…
Ram just kicked the doors open and said “hold my beer.”
And honestly? We love it.
Our marketing guy Jake aka Big Fast Jake recently got an exclusive first look at the brand-new Ram Rumble Bee lineup, and it’s clear Ram is taking a massive swing at bringing muscle trucks back from the dead.
But not with one truck. With three of them.

The Return of the Muscle Truck
For longtime truck enthusiasts, the idea of a factory muscle truck isn’t new.
Legends like the:
- Ford Lightning
- Ram SRT-10
- Chevy 454SS
Have become icons of automotive history.
But here’s the thing:
Historically, muscle trucks have never been massive sales successes. They become legends later — not necessarily giant revenue drivers in real time.
Which is exactly why the new Rumble Bee lineup is so interesting. Ram knows this is a gamble.
Even CEO Tim Kuniskis reportedly described this as a “hold my beer” moment for Ram.

The Base Ram Rumble Bee
The entry point into the lineup is the new Ram Rumble Bee.
And even the “base” version is far from boring.
Features include:
- 5.7L HEMI V8
- Widebody styling
- Quad cab configuration
- 5’7” short bed
- 20x10 wheels
- TRX-inspired hood
It’s aggressive, loud, and unapologetically truck-shaped.
Exactly how a muscle truck should be.

The Rumble Bee 392
Then things get a little more serious.
The Rumble Bee 392 upgrades to the legendary:
6.4L Apache HEMI V8 producing 470 horsepower.
Along with:
- 22x10 wheels
- All the styling and widebody upgrades from the base truck
This is probably the sweet spot for a lot of Ram Rumble Bee buyers.
Big naturally aspirated V8 power, aggressive styling, and enough attitude to make every on-ramp entertaining.

The Maniac: Rumble Bee SRT
And then there’s the one everyone is going to talk about.
The Ram Rumble Bee SRT. This thing is ridiculous.
Under the hood?
A TRX-derived supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 producing 777 horsepower.
We'll say that again—seven hundred and seventy-seven horsepower.
In a lowered, all-wheel-drive truck.
Other highlights include:
- AWD system
- Selectable 2WD mode for maximum tire destruction
- 0–60 in 3.4 seconds
- 170 MPH top speed
That makes the Ram Rumble Bee SRT the fastest production truck ever. Not kind of, not sort of, period.

Why These Trucks Are So Wild
What makes the Rumble Bee lineup ultra cool is that Ram is building these trucks despite what the data says they should do.
Realistically, muscle trucks have never been huge-volume products.
People online love them.
People at car shows love them.
People on YouTube definitely love them.
But historically? They haven’t sold in massive numbers. Ram isn’t playing it safe. They’re building trucks because enthusiasts want them to exist.

Will They Actually Sell?
Honestly? Who knows. That’s part of what makes this so interesting.
The market for high-performance trucks is passionate — but pretty darn niche.
Still, even if sales numbers aren’t massive, these trucks will likely become instant modern collectibles.
Especially the 777hp, 170mph Rumble Bee SRT.

Final Thoughts
At a time when the automotive world feels increasingly cautious, the new Rumble Bee trucks feel wonderfully unnecessary.
And honestly?
That’s exactly why we’re excited about them.
