If you’ve followed FASS Motorsports for any amount of time, you’ve probably seen Spencer Ekstam’s 4th Gen Ram 2500 — and like most great builds, it didn’t just happen once.
This truck has gone through multiple evolutions over the years… but Version 4.0 (or maybe 5.0 — we’ve lost count 👀) is easily the wildest yet.
We could try to explain it… but honestly, this truck is something you need to see. So kick back, turn your volume up, and check out the full feature video below:
The Heart of the Beast: 6.4 Shredder Series Engine
Under the hood is a 6.4L Shredder Series Cummins from Industrial Injection — built to handle extreme horsepower and compound boost. This setup isn’t just stout — it’s downright violent.
To feed the engine, Spencer is running:
- MASSIVE compound turbos (built by Spencer himself)
- 650% over injectors
- Dual 14mm CP3 pumps
- FASS 290GPH Fuel System
Combine all that fuel and airflow with the right tuning, and this setup will push north of 2,000 horsepower on kill mode. Yes — two thousand.

Putting Power to the Ground
All that horsepower wouldn’t mean much if it couldn’t be controlled — which is why Spencer ditched the 68RFE for something bulletproof. This truck now runs a full manual valve body 48RE, built by Quality Transmission in St. Louis.
Suspension & Chassis Upgrades
Making big power is fun, but being able to actually drive and enjoy it is what separates a real build from a dyno-only project. Spencer's suspension setup is dialed in with:
- FASS Fabrication Radius Arms
- FASS Fabrication Rear Control Arms
- FASS Fabrication Coilover Conversion Kit w/ Carbon Shocks
The truck sits perfectly — but more importantly — it stays planted when the power hits.

Wheels, Tires, Brakes, and Interior
On each corner you’ll find 24x14 KG1 Forged wheels wrapped in Fury Track Hunter Tires. With that much rotating mass, stopping power matters — so Spencer upgraded to massive Wilwood brakes courtesy of FASS Motorsports.

Oh, and let's not forget the fully custom FASS Motorsports-edition PRP Seats inside! To compliment the custom PRPs Spencer also fabbed up a custom center console to house his switch panel and ratchet shifter.

Why This Build Matters
Spencer’s Ram isn’t just a high-horsepower science experiment — it’s a showcase of what happens when someone refuses to settle, keeps improving, and builds every version better than the last.
It’s real diesel passion, and it’s exactly the kind of stuff we love sharing here at FASS Motorsports.
Don’t Forget — Watch the Video!
Seriously — if you haven’t clicked play yet, do it. Even if you’ve never seen a 2,000HP Cummins, you'll leave inspired (and possibly wanting to spend a whole lot of money).
