The Carli Fabricated Leaf Spring Shackle is a simple yet highly effective upgrade that delivers a noticeable improvement in ride quality by addressing one of the most overlooked limitations in the factory rear suspension. Designed to replace the restrictive OEM shackle, this upgrade allows the rear suspension to move more freely, resulting in smoother operation and improved comfort.
Factory shackles use vulcanized bushings that bind and restrict movement, contributing to the harsh ride commonly experienced in leaf-sprung trucks. Carli’s design replaces these with a serviceable, greasable bushing system that increases compliance, improves damping, and enhances overall suspension performance without sacrificing strength.
