Carli Performance 2.5 Leveling System 3in Lift 2003–2009 Ram 2500/3500 Diesel Long Arm

The Carli Performance 2.5 Leveling System is a no-compromise, long-arm suspension system built for diesel Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks that need serious travel, improved ride quality, and high-performance off-road capability. The front end is converted to Carli’s fabricated long-arm system, using arms that are over 50% longer than factory control arms with 3/16-inch construction, internal gusseting, fully serviceable joints, and zero-bind articulation.

This system pairs the long-arm setup with Carli-specific, blueprinted, long-travel King 2.5-inch shocks on all four corners. The long-arm specific 5-port piston tuning improves bottom-out resistance on sharp hits while maintaining a predictable, comfortable street ride. With 3 to 3.25 inches of front lift and 70% more suspension travel than the factory platform, this system delivers a more balanced front travel range with improved control over rough terrain.

Notes:

• Requires cutting off the factory control arm mounts to install Carli drop brackets and fabricated long arms.

• This system includes the Carli Torsion Sway Bar and Full Progressive Leaf Springs; there is no add-a-pack or extended sway bar link option.

• Full Progressive Leaf Springs replace the factory leaf spring assembly to improve ride quality and travel, with a 15% payload reduction from a standard 2500.

• Payload can be supplemented back to factory 3500 SRW capacity with Carli Long Travel Airbags.

• Three inches of front lift shifts the axle toward the driver side approximately 3/4 inch and back toward the cab approximately 1/2 inch; the included adjustable track bar helps recenter the axle.

• King shocks use plated steel bodies. If exposed to inclement weather for extended periods, Carli recommends wrapping the shocks in 3M film as a replaceable moisture barrier.

Wheel and Tire Notes:

• Fits up to a 37x12.5-inch tire on 17 to 18-inch wheels with 4.5 inches of backspacing.

• Significant trimming of stock fenders and front bumper is required for 37x12.5-inch tires.

• A 37x13.5-inch tire may be possible with fiberglass fenders.

• This system was tuned with 17-inch wheels and 37-inch Toyo M/T tires at 40 PSI front and 35 PSI rear.

• More tire sidewall improves small bump compliance at proper inflation pressures.

• Ride quality will firm up as wheel diameter increases.
