Carli Dominator 3.0 Leveling System Base Kit

The Carli Dominator 3.0 Leveling System is designed for 2014–2023 Ram 2500 4x4 diesel trucks, delivering Carli’s true jack-of-all-trades suspension package with exceptional on-road comfort and serious off-road capability. Built around Carli Signature tuned King 3.0 inch remote reservoir shocks, this system is made for drivers who want a no-compromise suspension that can handle tough terrain while still riding comfortably around town.

The Dominator is Carli’s pinnacle offering for this platform, using oversized King 3.0 inch shocks with custom pistons, Carli-specific tuning, and 17-4 stainless steel shock shafts. To properly package and cycle these large shocks, the system includes front and rear mounting solutions, chassis strengthening components, brake line provisions, bump stop drops, and supporting suspension geometry upgrades.

Dominator Shock Details:

• King 3.0 inch remote reservoir shocks are custom tuned by Carli for the Ram HD platform

• Custom pistons are used to establish proper base flow rates before final tuning

• Large Pintop-style front bushings secure the front shocks in the factory upper location

• 17-4 stainless steel shock shafts resist corrosion and avoid coating wear

• Oversized 3.0 inch shock bodies provide major control, heat capacity, and bottom-out resistance

• Front lower shock mounts are replaced with 1/4 inch boxed weld-in mounts for strength and clearance

• Rear shocks are relocated from the restrictive factory frame pocket for improved cycling and tire clearance

Front Suspension Details:

• Front lower shock mounts replace the weak factory stamped mounts

• Front brake lines are relocated with extended stainless lines and routing brackets to clear the larger shocks

• Weld-in coil isolator supports reinforce the factory coil bucket area

• Coil isolator supports help prevent coil bowing, slipping, and isolator deformation during extended-travel use

• Front suspension disassembly, welding, priming, and painting are required for coil isolator support installation

Rear Suspension Details:

• Rear shocks are moved from the factory frame-pocket location

• Replacement rear upper shock mounts weld to the tubular rear frame crossmember area

• Rear lower shock mounts bolt in using existing factory mounting points

• Rear lower mounts extend forward and cant outward for proper shock alignment and tire clearance

• Included rear bedside brace supports the bed laterally after factory support modification

• E-brake relocation hardware keeps factory e-brake cables clear of the larger rear shocks

Sway Bar Options:

• Billet sway bar drop brackets reposition the factory sway bar down and forward

• Billet drop blocks help the factory end links cycle properly through the extended travel range

• Optional torsion sway bar replaces the factory sway bar assembly

• Torsion sway bar includes fabricated drop brackets, Delrin bushings, fabricated sway bar arms, and dual 5/8 inch FK heim end links

• Carli highly recommends the torsion sway bar with the Dominator System for the best ride quality upgrade

Notes:

• Compatible only with Carli 3.25 inch front springs and 0 to 2 inch rear lift.

• Rear coil spring setup reduces payload and towing capacity by approximately 15% from a stock Ram 2500.

• Front lower shock mounts, rear upper shock mounts, and front upper coil isolator supports require welding.

• The factory bed support must be modified due to rear shock relocation.

• Not compatible with auto-leveling air suspension.

• Designed for diesel 4x4 applications.

Wheel and Tire Fitment:

• Fits up to 37 inch tires when using wheels no more than 9 inches wide with 5 inches of backspacing to clear the new rear shock path.

• Carli recommends 17 to 18 inch wheels for optimal ride quality.

• Recommended tire size range is 35 to 37 inch E-rated tires.

• Recommended unloaded tire pressure is 45 PSI front and 40 PSI rear.

• Larger wheel diameters may result in a firmer ride due to reduced sidewall.
