These are a proprietary Platinum Plus ball joint that is built for us by XRF. These are a high quality, greaseable ball joint designed to perform in severe conditions with a reasonable price point.
Features include:
- Cold forged ball stud of SAE4140 steel
- Stud heat treatment for omni-directional strength
- Triple lip boot seal to keep grease in and dirt out
- Forged housings of SAE1045 steel give these ball joints the extra strength to have almost double the stud pull-out strength of most competitors
- Ball stud is fully encapsulated in a high strength acetel bearing offering superior load disbursement and longer life.
THESE ARE SOLD AS A FULL SET WHICH INCLUDES 2 UPPER AND 2 LOWER BALL JOINTS (ENOUGH TO DO ONE VEHICLE).
