Starter System

The Starter System includes the Front Leveling Kit with optional rear Add-A-Pack and matching Rear Shocks. Designed for those seeking a leveled vehicle with improved performance and ride quality over a generic spacer lift, the rear kit further enhances ride quality. The Carli Signature Series front shocks have been custom tuned in-house for superior ride quality.

The Details:

Your truck will sit 2.5”-3” higher in the front (year/cab configuration dependent) with 50% more suspension travel than the factory platform thanks to taller, lighter-rate coil springs. Included front & rear Carli Signature Series Shocks are longer to accommodate extended travel. Designed with zinc plating, clear coat for corrosion resistance, and quality bushings, the shocks are finished with boots to protect the shafts and are backed by a limited lifetime warranty for unbeatable ride quality.

Adding down-travel with the taller ride height requires adjusting the factory front sway bar. Two options are available (unless 1994-2002, then only one): extended Sway Bar End Links or the replacement Torsion Sway Bar. End links feature ½” FK Rod-Ends and in-house machined 17-4 stainless bodies extended over stock to reset the sway bar engagement point. Factory pillow-bushings are reused to assemble the sway bar to the lengthened link. Carli’s Torsion Sway Bar replaces the factory assembly with a torsion bar supported by fabricated drop brackets and Delrin bushings. Fabricated sway bar arms and dual 5/8” FK heim end links complete the package. This is the best bang-for-the-buck ride-quality upgrade offered by Carli Suspension.

Front axle alignment is affected by lift. A 3” front lift shifts the axle toward the driver’s side ¾” and back toward the cab ½”. An adjustable track bar is recommended to reposition the axle toward the passenger side, providing a stronger link with less deflection, along with extended control arms to shift the axle forward to its new center of travel.

In the rear, the Progressive Add-A-Pack can replace the factory overload spring to increase comfort, traction, and predictability.

Wheel and Tire:

• Fits up to a 35” tire with stock control arms (extended Mild Steel Control Arms recommended).
• Wheel backspacing: 5.75”-6”.
• If using factory wheels, an All-Terrain 35” tire is recommended to avoid rubbing.
• For 37” tire fitment, High-Clearance Control Arms and Adjustable Track Bar can be paired with a wheel with 5.75” backspacing.
• More rubber improves small bump compliance at proper inflation pressures. Ride will firm up with larger wheel diameters.
