03-13 RAM 2500/3500 6" DOMINATOR 3.0 SHOCK PACKAGE, DIESEL

The Dominator is the true Jack of all trades shock package, offering the most on-road comfort of any short-arm system in the Carli lineup. It rides better than any other system on the road while maintaining off-road capability that makes the truck feel half its size. This marks the end of our “all-around” shock packages; anything above the 3.0” King will sacrifice on-road ride for off-road performance. For customers seeking the best balance of on- and off-road capability while retaining factory short arms, this is the perfect candidate.

The Dominator features front Carli Signature-tuned, King 3.0” remote reservoir shocks so large that the factory spring buckets need to be bored for proper cycling. Matching rear piggy-back 3.0” shocks are included. In pursuit of the best product, these are not off-the-shelf King 3.0” shocks; a custom piston was designed to establish proper base flow rates for the heavy-duty truck platform, then tuned for seat-of-the-pants feel.

All King shock shafts are machined and polished from a solid piece of 17-4 Stainless. Unlike standard King shafts, there is no coating to wear off, weather is less likely to harm them, and minor chips can be smoothed with emery cloth without damaging the seal housing, as they are not brittle like stock hardened shafts. Shocks are filled with King oil rated to -55° F and feature a plated steel body. For extended exposure to harsh weather, wrapping the shocks in 3M tape is recommended to provide a replaceable moisture barrier.

Installation Notes: Shock towers and rear crossmember gussets are required. Front coil buckets must be bored to 4.5″ upper and lower. The rear shock crossmember will need clearance and plating with the Carli Gusset Kit. Addition of a fabricated axle truss and rear shock mounts is highly recommended.
