03-12 RAM 2500/3500 6" PINTOP 2.5 SHOCK PACKAGE

The Pintop is the Backcountry on steroids – take the description for the Backcountry and throw an exponent on it. This system is our most popular, all-around suspension system. It rides best with the Full Progressive Leaf Springs. Adding 2.5″ diameter shocks supports the argument that these trucks should come equipped with 2.5″ shocks from the factory. Higher-end systems provide more off-road capability, and even a bit more on-road performance. The premium paid for these systems doesn’t compare to the ride quality per dollar spent on the Pintop, which is why it remains our best seller for years to come.

This shock package includes Carli specific, blueprinted, King 2.5″ shocks on all four corners. We designed a custom piston to determine proper base flow rates for the heavy-duty truck platform and tuned the shocks around the pistons based on seat-of-the-pants feel. All King shock shafts are machined and polished from a solid piece of 17-4 Stainless. Unlike King’s standard shafts, there is no coating to wear off, weather is less likely to harm them, and minor chips can be smoothed with emery cloth without damaging the seal housing, as they are not brittle like stock hardened shafts.

The shocks are filled with King oil rated to -55° F and feature a plated steel body. For extended exposure to harsh weather, we recommend wrapping the shocks in 3M tape to provide a replaceable moisture barrier.
