Leveling System
The Leveling System was designed for people seeking a leveled vehicle with more performance and ride quality than a generic spacer lift. The Carli Signature Series front shocks have been custom tuned in-house for superior ride quality.
The Details:
Your truck will sit 2.5”-3” higher in the front (year/cab configuration dependent) with 50% more suspension travel than the factory platform thanks to the taller, lighter rate coil springs. The included front Carli Signature Series Shocks are longer to accommodate the extended travel. Designed with zinc plating, clear coat for corrosion resistance, and quality bushings, the shocks are finished with boots to protect the shafts and are backed by a limited lifetime warranty for unbeatable ride quality.
With added down-travel from the taller ride height, the position of the factory sway bar will need to be altered. Two options are offered (unless 1994-2002, then only one): extended Sway Bar End Links or the replacement Torsion Sway Bar. The End Links feature ½” FK Rod-Ends and in-house machined 17-4 stainless bodies extended over stock to reset the sway bar engagement point. Factory pillow-bushings are reused to assemble the sway bar to the lengthened link. The Carli Torsion Sway Bar removes the entire factory assembly, replacing it with a torsion bar supported by fabricated drop brackets and Delrin bushings. Fabricated sway bar arms and dual 5/8” FK heim end links complete the package. This is the best bang-for-the-buck ride-quality upgrade offered by Carli Suspension.
When lifting the front end of a straight axle truck, the front axle is pulled off-center unless proper linkages are addressed. A 3” front lift shifts the axle toward the driver’s side ¾” and back toward the cab ½”. We recommend an adjustable track bar to reposition the axle toward the passenger side for a stronger link with less deflection, and extended control arms to shift the axle forward to its new center of travel.
Wheel and Tire:
- Fits up to a 35” tire with stock control arms (extended Mild Steel Control Arms recommended).
- Wheel backspacing: 5.75”-6”.
- If using factory wheels, an All-Terrain 35” tire is recommended to avoid rubbing.
- For 37” tire fitment, High-Clearance Control Arms and Adjustable Track Bar can be paired with a wheel with 5.75” backspacing.
- More rubber improves small bump compliance at proper inflation pressures. Ride will firm up with larger wheel diameters.
