Description

On stock Super Duty trucks, the factory sway bar is essentially a stiff brace connecting the axle to the frame. While it limits body roll, it also transfers high-frequency vibrations from one wheel to the other, creating chatter felt in the cab on small bumps or off-camber terrain. This immobility contributes to many complaints about harsh ride quality.

Factory sway bars are designed to handle the truck at maximum payload, providing essential support for heavy loads, such as a 3,500 lb cab-over camper, while keeping the suspension composed. For trucks not regularly loaded to GVWR, the Carli Torsion Sway Bar improves ride quality without compromising control. It allows subtle side-to-side articulation before progressively engaging, maintaining stability while reducing cabin vibrations. The result is precise off-road handling and a smoother on-road feel reminiscent of independent front suspension.
