Description
Pathfinder 2.5 System
This system boasts Carli-specific, blueprinted King 2.5″ shocks on all four corners. To provide customers with the best possible product, we designed a custom piston to determine proper base flow rates, ensuring the shocks work perfectly with the JKU platform. The shocks were then tuned around these pistons based on what matters most to us: seat-of-the-pants feel.
All King shocks are finished with shafts machined and polished from solid 17-4 Stainless. Unlike standard King shafts, there’s no coating to wear off, making them more resilient to weather. Small chips can be smoothed with emery cloth without risk of brittleness. These shocks are filled with King oil rated to -55°F. Note: all King shocks use a plated steel body; in harsh climates we recommend wrapping them with 3M protective film to create a replaceable moisture barrier.

System Behavior
The Pathfinder is the Backcountry on steroids — imagine the Backcountry multiplied. This is our jack-of-all-trades system that every JKU owner would benefit from. The Pathfinder handles like it’s on rails, virtually eliminating body roll.
Best described as reactive, the system allows you to feel the trail while the Jeep feels two steps ahead. The faster you drive, the better it feels. At low speeds, crawling performance matches the Commuter and Backcountry, while higher speed trails are handled with ease — all while maintaining unrivaled on-road manners. The ride will be slightly firmer than the Commuter or Backcountry, a natural byproduct of the enhanced control engineered into this system.
Note: An Exhaust Drop or Y-Pipe is required with this system to prevent driveshaft/exhaust contact.
