• Channels machined into the ball surface for grease migration
• No liners – bronze wear surface preloaded with disc spring, safety washer, and snap ring
• Rubber seal locking the housing to the pin

Materials & Process

Carli tests multiple materials and processes to maximize durability. Key steps include:

• Copper plating all but the wear surface for masking
• Carburizing to achieve 20-25 thousandths case-hardness on wear surfaces
• Dry-lubing with corrosion-resistant gray coating paired with anti-seize and Redline CV2 grease
