3.25″ Leveling Air-Ride System for Ram 2500 Diesel

Front Coil Springs

3.25″ Leveling Coil Springs: Your truck will sit 3”-3.5” higher in the front (cab configuration dependent) with 50% more suspension travel than stock thanks to taller, lighter rate coil springs. These springs are shot-peened, pre-set, and powder coated to ensure optimal performance and long-lasting finish.

Front Suspension Components

  • Adjustable Track Bar: Corrects axle shift caused by front lift (¾” driver’s side shift, lightened caster, slight rearward axle shift) and provides a stronger, low-deflection link.
  • Front Bump Stop Drop Brackets: Ensures proper cycling of the front suspension with extended travel shocks.
  • Radius Arm Drop Brackets: Maintain proper caster alignment, geometry, and spring pressures to prevent coil spring bowing.
  • Choice of Torsion Sway Bar or Drop Brackets: Options include Billet Sway Bar Drop Brackets or replacement Torsion Sway Bar with fabricated drop brackets, delrin bushings, and dual 5/8” FK heim end links for improved ride quality and articulation.

Shock Package

The Pintop is our most popular all-around suspension system. This 3.25″ Air-Ride version uses Carli-specific, blueprinted King 2.5” shocks on all four corners, tuned for air-ride applications. Custom pistons determine optimal base flow rates, and all shafts are machined from solid 17-4 Stainless Steel. Finished with King oil rated to -55°F and plated steel bodies. 3M wrap is recommended for extended weather protection.

Rear Suspension Components

  • Rear Extended Sway Bar End Links: Accommodates the dropped geometry of the rear end.
  • Airbag Spacer: Ensures proper airbag position for lifted height.
  • Extended Rear Sensor Link: Full metal construction (steel ends, aluminum body) sets ride height accurately.
  • Rear Bump Stop Drop Brackets: Works with airbag spacer to protect the airbag in its new position.

Additional Notes

The 3.25″ system is Diesel-only and maintains full air-ride functionality including load leveling and ALT trailer height. Geometry is improved with less lateral movement, and front suspension travel is maximized. The system utilizes factory studs for mounting where possible, including the addition of a missing driver-side nut for the airbag for secure installation.

Wheel & Tire Fitment

This system fits up to a 37” tire with wheels no wider than 9” and 5.75-6” backspacing. 12.5” wide tires require minor trimming, 13.5” tires require more. 35” tires fit with minimal modification. Recommended 18” diameter wheels for optimal ride quality on 35”-37” E-rated tires at 45psi front, 40psi rear (unloaded). Current test setup: Raceline Wheels with 37×12.5” Nitto Ridge Grappler tires.
