- Forged SAE 1045 housings – Solid steel and CNC machined for dimensionally perfect parts.
- SAE 4140 chromoly ball studs – Hot forged and induction heat treated, with rolled and step threads.
- Boots stay on – Hockey-puck style systems call for removing the end boot; Apex keeps it in place to hold dirt out and grease in.
- Greaseable and pre-greased – Pre-threaded zerk housings, gull-winged grease grooves and zerk fittings included.
