Designed as a universal air suspension system for all Class 6 & 7 trucks with a 34″ frame, the Kelderman General Medium Duty 2-Stage Rear Air Suspension is one of our oldest and most popular kits. This air suspension utilizes Kelderman’s 2-Stage Design that retains the existing leaf spring suspension for carrying capacity but allows you to give yourself an air suspension quality ride. The G.M.D. Rear Kit bolts to the truck frame and attaches to the leaf spring pack once the leaf spring shackle hanger/slider has been removed. This framework allows for 4″ of additional travel from the leaf springs, creating a much smoother ride for the vehicle and driver.
As a universal air suspension kit, it can be used on a range of applications including Ford F-650/750, International, Freightliner, school buses, etc. This air suspension framework would include our ‘manual fill’ air control system with air line, fittings, and a Schrader valve-style inflator. This would let you inflate the suspension to the proper position for the best ride quality and simply monitor it like you would your tire pressure. We offer a line of air control options, as well such as a mechanical height control valve and linkage kit to use with an onboard air control system or a full self-leveling air control system with an air compressor, tank, height control valve, dump valve, and an air dryer. The standard kit includes the upper and lower air suspension framework, airbags, fittings, air line, and Schrader valve.
