Ford's 6.7L Power Stroke uses plastic for both the engine-mounted fuel filter housing and the injector return fitting. Plastic resists corrosion well, but it loses strength after enough heat cycles — and when the housing cracks, it can spray diesel directly onto a hot inboard exhaust. The injector return fitting is a second failure point on the same system.
The Fuel Leak Prevention Kit Plus solves both and services the whole fuel system at once. It's the complete LPK — billet aluminum housing plus the aluminum Fuel Leak Prevention Fitting — bundled with a chassis-mounted replacement filter. In a two-filter system, changing one and leaving the other doesn't make much sense.

2011-2016 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 with the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel. F650 / F750 medium-duty trucks use the dedicated F650 / F750 version of this kit.
