Description
The fuel return fitting on Ford's 6.7L Power Stroke is plastic. Like the engine-mounted filter housing, it loses strength after enough heat cycles — and it sits on a fuel circuit above a hot inboard exhaust. It is the second of two known leak points on this fuel system, and the one most often overlooked.
The S&S Fuel Leak Prevention Fitting replaces it with aluminum. This is the same fitting that ships standard inside every S&S Fuel Leak Prevention Kit, offered here on its own for trucks that don't need the full filter housing upgrade.
