Description
To install the sulastic model SAJ-03B it is required to free the interference of the original combustible line route.
Sulastic develop a deviator combustible tank included in the FTK-01 "Fuel Tank Kit" to make an easier and more convenient installation than using combustible rubber hoses and fittings.
For the installation will be required to re-use most of the original combustible line components already installed on the truck.
Review the next list of the components included in the kit and compare to what you will need to re-route the combustible line trying to avoid an extra trip to the autoparts store.
The kit includes:
A (1) Sulastic Deviator Tank (8-1/4" center to center)
1ft length of 1-1/2 ID combustible hose
B (1) 5-3/4" Ft length of 1- 1/2" ID combustible hose
C (4) Hose clamp for 1-1/2 ID hose
D (1) 1.5 ft of 3/4" ID combustible emission hose
E (3) Hose clamp for 3/4" ID hose
F (1) 90 Elbow for 3/4" ID hose
G (1) Zip tie of 30" length
H (1) 1 fT 1- 1/2" ID combustible hose
SAJ-03B model requires 12” clearance horizontally to the rear bumper and 11" clearance vertically, taking the measurement from the hanger bolt center.

INSTALLATION NOTES:
CAUTION: Do not have any open flame or heat source close to the installation area
1. Disconnect the battery cables during installation.
2. The fill and vent tube must have a continuous downward slope from the upper fillneck to the tank or the system will not fill properly. If a sag occurs the truck's combustible tank will not fill properly.
3. Based on your specific needs, use the appropriate the 1 ½” I.D. fill hoses to complete the routing of the fill system between the upper fillneck and the fuel tank. Use the stainless-steel hose clamp on each connection. And use plastic ties to hold the hose in place.
4. Based on your specific needs, use the appropriate the 3/4 I.D. vent hoses to complete the routing of the fill system between the upper fillneck and the fuel tank. Use the stainless-steel hose clamp on each connection. Use plastic ties to hold vent hose to fill hose.

5. Make sure before filling the tank:
a. Fill hose is not kinked.
b. Fill vent hose is not kinked or sagging.
c. Fill hoses and tube have a continuous downward slope
d. Hose clamps are adjusted to avoid leaks
e. Hose is not contacting sharp surfaces

Example of FTK-01 FUEL TANK KIT installed.
The original one.
FUELHOSEINSTALLED
The first thing to do is verify that the SAJ-03B suspension has the space to be installed at both sides.
Then you need to unscrew the 3/4 and 1-1/2 fuel hose clamps at the ends.
A is assembled with B and C. This assembly mounts to the truck's fuel tank with C using the side of the hose.
You have to attach the tank to the chassis with G.
Now we have to assemble D with F using E to adjust it. This assembly mounts to the fuel tank truck with E using the side of the hose.
The next step is to figure out H and the original hoses to join the fuel inlet to the Sulastic Deviator Tank with the 1-1/2 hoses (In this case C and H was the hose that was used to connect the fuel inlet with the sulastic tank), and the 3/4 hoses use them to connect the fuel inlet to the F.
The sulastic tank with the sulastic will look like the picture, the sulastic doesn’t hit the fuel hose and the sulastic tank.
