Description
These brackets are a simple bolt in lift option for the rear of 1999-2016 Ford F-250/350. This will replace the rear shackle mount on the rear spring and flip the shackle to the bottom side of the bracket. These bolt in place using the stock holes after the OEM hot rivets are removed with additional optional holes that can be drilled for heavy duty installs. With the installation of these, the user will notice a slightly softer ride do to a change in spring geometry.
These are available in 3 different sizes, 2.5", 3.5", and 4.5". Lift amount is approximate and will vary depending on the cab and bed configuration of the truck. The installation of this will move the axle forward and increase pinion angle. The larger the lift amount with this method, the greater the change. This can be correct with adjustable location lift blocks, pinion correction shims, or a different tapered block.
These brackets have 3 shackle positioning holes allow you to ensure proper shackle angle. Additionally the holes to attach to the frame are slotted slightly to allow you to correct for any frame imperfections or other variations.
Also please note that combining a shackle flip with aftermarket lift springs may add additional shift in the axle location or potential issues with the shackle working properly depending on how the springs are designed.
EXCURSIONS WILL HAVE TO DRILL ADDITIONAL HOLES TO USE THESE BRACKETS!
