Pre-filters (also referred to as filter socks) effectively prevent large debris such as bugs, grass, and rocks from coming into contact with your filter, simplifying maintenance and extending filter life.
Our pre-filter is also semi-hydrophobic, causing water to bead and roll off upon contact. This helps keep your filter drier, promoting better longevity and performance. The airflow restriction introduced by the pre-filter is minimal, ensuring optimal filtration efficiency.
