Notes
- Starter systems can draw up to 500 amps depending on conditions. Batteries, cables, terminals, and related components should be inspected and serviced regularly.
- Voltage measured at the starter during cranking should always be above 11V DC.
- Starter heat shields are not required but are recommended for additional heat protection.
- Factory mounting bolts should fit snugly due to the knurling on the bolts. Replace bolts if they are not secure in the mounting holes.
- The factory support bracket should be installed. If missing, it should be purchased separately.
