USA Standard Gear Pinion Installation Kits are a terrific solution for gear installation on lower mileage vehicles where the carrier bearings and races can be reused. This kit features premium Koyo/Timken bearings and races along with high-quality seals and small parts. USA Standard Gear does extensive research for each application to make sure your kit will arrive with all the correct parts you need to install your gear set.
- Spider gear kit
- Fits GM 8.5" open differential with 28 spline axles
- Includes two side gears, two pinion gears, cross pin shaft, cross pin bolt and spider gear thrust washers.
Notes:
- Does not fit 8.6" carriers with casting numbers 1073 or 7875. Both 8.5" & 8.6" carriers were available from 1999-2002. The 8.5" carrier has two large openings, the 8.6 carrier has one large and one small opening.
