Built for the 2018–2021 Jeep Wrangler JL and 2019–2021 Jeep Gladiator JT, the Apex Chassis Super HD Front Lower Ball Joint is a heavy-duty front lower ball joint replacement with a bronze-lined bearing, solid steel forged housing and polished ball stud.

- Bronze bearing design – Apex’s newest improvement in bearing design: perfectly polished ball studs encased in a solid steel forged housing, lined with a highly durable, low friction bronze bearing.
- SAE 4140 hot-forged chromoly ball stud – For the strongest possible metallurgy, induction heat treated to the exact depth and location and polished like an anti-friction bearing with extremely precise tolerances.
- Rolled and stepped threads – Pressed instead of cut, which strengthens the threads and allows easy movement of hardware, with superior holding when torqued.
- Knurled housing – The preferred design for aftermarket installations.
- Greaseable – Pre-threaded zerk housing, gull-winged grease grooves for improved lubrication around the ball stud, zerk fitting included.
- CR rubber boot – The most durable material for undercar applications, resistant to road-level ozone, oil/gas/engine fluids and extreme heat or cold. The boot is coined onto the ball joint for superior sealing against contaminants.
- Forged SAE 1045 solid steel housing – The best carbon alloy steel for this application, CNC machined to make parts and bearings dimensionally perfect with no die wear issues.
