Installation Highlights
Clean and inspect all hardware for defects or shipping damage. Clean the female threads in the cylinder head (use a thread chaser if needed) for proper engagement and accurate torque readings. Screw the studs in hand tight only – no torque. Set the rocker pedestal in place, lubricate the stud threads and nut bearing surface with ARP Ultra-Torque Fastener Assembly Lubricant, thread the nut on hand tight, then torque the nut to 38 ft-lbs.
