Designed as a direct-fit replacement, this gearbox eliminates excessive steering play, wandering, and stiff steering caused by worn internal components. Built entirely with brand new parts and tested prior to shipping, it provides dependable steering response and long service life.
Over time, internal steering gearbox components such as the worm gear, sector gear, and bearings can wear from normal use, rough road conditions, potholes, and fluid leaks. Common symptoms include loose steering feel, leaking sector shaft seals, increased steering effort, and grinding or clunking noises.
