The XDP Fuel System Contamination Kit No Pump (Stock Replacement) XD612 is designed to help restore your 2015–2016 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke after a catastrophic CP4 injection pump failure. The factory CP4 pump is a known weak point in the fuel system and can fail in a way that sends metal debris throughout the entire fuel system.
When a CP4 pump fails, metal fragments can contaminate the fuel rails, injector lines, injectors, and other fuel system components. Attempting to flush the fuel system typically does not remove all debris, which can result in damage to newly installed parts. Proper repair requires replacement of the contaminated components to ensure the new system remains clean and reliable.
This XDP OER Series Fuel Contamination Kit includes the major components needed to repair the system while allowing you to choose your own high-pressure pump. This makes it a great option for those upgrading to a CP4 to DCR conversion pump or installing another upgraded solution. Replacing the affected components helps ensure debris from the previous pump failure does not contaminate the replacement parts.
