The XDP Stock+ Series Flex Plate XD640 replaces the underperforming factory flex plate with a stronger and more durable alternative. While the OEM flex plate is designed to handle moderate towing and mild performance upgrades, heavier loads, increased horsepower, and frequent towing can place additional stress on the drivetrain.
These conditions can create heat spots from the torque converter that, after repeated heat cycles, may lead to cracking or complete flex plate failure. The Stock+ Series Flex Plate is engineered to provide improved durability and reliability while maintaining OE-style functionality, making it ideal for stock and mildly modified trucks.
