Restore turbocharger performance in your 2006–2007 GM 6.6L Duramax LBZ with the XDP Xpressor OER Series Reman GT3788VA Replacement Turbocharger XD554. Designed as a direct OE-style replacement, this remanufactured turbocharger helps recover lost power, restore fuel economy, and correct common turbocharger issues caused by excessive temperatures, oil contamination, overspeed conditions, or worn internal components.
The factory LBZ turbocharger is known to develop issues such as sticking variable vanes or a seized unison ring. The XDP Xpressor remanufactured turbocharger is built through a comprehensive remanufacturing process to meet OE specifications and restore reliable performance to your Duramax engine.
Each turbo begins with a full disassembly followed by thorough cleaning and inspection of all internal components. The housing, compressor wheel, turbine wheel, and rotating assembly are checked for microscopic damage. Bearing surfaces are precision machined to a like-new finish, rotating assemblies are balanced to OEM specifications, and all wear components such as seals, thrust plates, bearings, and fasteners are replaced. Every unit is validated through full RPM end-of-line testing with NVH analysis along with hydraulic and pneumatic leak testing, burst testing, and hot gas stand validation.
The direct-fit design allows for a straightforward bolt-on installation using factory connections. A turbocharger installation kit is included with upper and lower oil drain gaskets, an up-pipe to turbo gasket, and oil feed and turbo coolant banjo seals to simplify installation.
