The XDP Xpressor Turbo (Remanufactured Stock Replacement) XD554 is a direct-fit replacement for the failed turbo in your 2006-2007 GM 6.6L Duramax LBZ. Issues such as a lack of lubrication, oil contamination, worn seals, excessive temperatures, and over-speeding of the turbo can slowly cause damage to the turbo in your Chevy or GMC.
Popular symptoms of turbocharger failure can include a significant loss of power, decreased fuel economy, noisy operation, excessive smoke, increased oil consumption, or a check engine light. Xpressor OER Series Remanufactured Turbochargers follow a strict remanufacturing process to ensure it meets O.E. specs. The turbochargers begin with a complete disassembly and each component is thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Visual checks are then performed for any microscopic damage to the housing, compressor, turbine wheels, and rotating assembly.
All bearing surfaces are precision machined to a like new finish before reassembly. The wheels and rotating assemblies are balanced to OEM specifications. All wear parts such as seals, thrust plates, bearings, and fasteners are replaced.
A 100 percent end-of-line testing is performed through the full RPM range along with a NVH analysis to ensure the highest quality turbochargers and components. In addition, hydraulic and pneumatic leak testing is done as well as burst test and hot gas stand validations.
